BA Global Business Management (3 Jahre)

Die B.H.M.S., Business & Hotel Management School, hat zusammen mit der Robert Gordon University (RGU) einen schnellen BA-Abschluss in der Schweiz konzipiert, ohne die Qualität der Studien zu beeinträchtigen.

Das Bachelor-Programm in Global Business Management vermittelt den Studierenden akademische Qualifikationen und Fähigkeiten, die für potenzielle Arbeitgeber in einer Vielzahl von globalen Wirtschaftssektoren attraktiv sind, wie z.B. internationalem Vertrieb und Marketing, Finanzen und Controlling, Bankwesen und Personalwesen. Absolventen können erfolgreiche Manager in den Bereichen Operationsmanagement, Supply-Chain-Management und Verwaltungspositionen in Regierungs- und Nichtregierungsorganisationen werden.

Das Programm verwendet eine Reihe von Lehrmethoden, um das Lernen zu erleichtern. Kernwissen wird durch Vorlesungen und Tutorials abgedeckt, unterstützt durch geleitete Lektüre und zusätzliches Material auf dem virtuellen Campus Blackboard. Besonderes Augenmerk wird darauf gelegt, für jedes Modul die effektivsten Lehr- und Bewertungsmethoden zu verwenden.

Für diejenigen, die die Englisch-Anforderungen nicht erfüllen, bieten wir ein 10-wöchiges Universitäts-Englisch-Grundlagenprogramm an, das ein intensiver Kurs für Studierende der Hospitality- und Culinary Arts ist - auf Bachelor- oder Master-Ebene.

Diploma: Hospitality Management (Year One)

Forming the first year to the BA in Global Business Management, the Diploma in Hospitality Management consists of one intensive study period of 6 months at the B.H.M.S. campus in Lucerne, Switzerland, and one practical paid industry training period of 4-6 months in the Swiss hospitality industry.

The program has a dual focus on developing a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry and building knowledge of key business and management principles. It comprises of one semester of 20 weeks and a 4-6 month paid internship in Switzerland or overseas.

Higher Diploma: Hospitality Management (Year Two)

The second year towards the BA in Global Business Management consists of one intensive study period of 6 months at the B.H.M.S. campus in Lucerne, Switzerland and one paid industry training period of 4- 6 months in the Swiss or international hospitality industry.

This second year provides the knowledge needed to further a career in global tourism, hospitality and other multi-national business sectors. Students advance their understanding and skills in business management with subjects that include accounting, sales and marketing as well as human resources management. After completing the two-year program at B.H.M.S., students can decide either to follow the BA in Hotel & Hospitality Management or the BA in Global Business Management final year's pathway.

BA Degree: Global Business Management (Year Three)

The third year of the 3-year Bachelor of Arts program, the BA in Global Business Management, is based on an intensive study period of 20 weeks at the B.H.M.S. campus in Lucerne, Switzerland and a 3-6 month workplace experience in a Swiss or international enterprise. B.H.M.S. manages the program with RGU, who awards the bachelor's degree to students who successfully complete the third year and pass all modules.
Graduates may become accomplished managers, capable of working across a range of public and private enterprises including leisure facilities, hotels, theme parks, conferences, exhibitions and event management.
