Mit dem höheren Diplom in Hospitality Management der B.H.M.S. festigen Sie Ihr Fachwissen und sind optimal vorbereitet für die Touristik-, Hotel- und Gastronomiebranche. Sie schliessen das zweijährige Programm auf der zweiten von drei Stufen des Bachelor of Arts Degree ab. Für eine internationale Karriere ist das zweijährige Programm ein Muss. Dabei erhalten Sie ein umfassendes Verständnis aller operativen Aspekte, welche sie in einem internationalen Unternehmen der Hotellerie benötigen. Das Programm bietet Ihnen eine akademische Ausbildung von 20 Wochen Studium und einem zusätzlichen 4 - 6 monatigen Betriebspraktikum. Während Ihres Praktikums verdienen Sie einen Lohn von ca. CHF 2'303 (ab 01.01.2023) brutto pro Monat. Dieser Abschluss ist Voraussetzung für den Einstieg in das 3. Jahr des BA Programms.
Ziel der Ausbildung
Als Studierende(r) bei der B.H.M.S. werden Sie im zweiten Jahr in folgenden akademischen Fächern unterrichtet: Front Office Operations, Human Resource Management, Convention & Events Management, Accounting 2, Micros Fidelio 2, Geography & Tourism, Yield Management, Study & Research Metholdology, Micro- and Macro Economics, Management Therory & Practice und Housekeeping.

Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management
This second year provides the knowledge needed to further a career in global tourism, hospitality, and other multi-national business sectors. Students advance their understanding and skills in business management with subjects that include accounting, sales, and marketing as well as human resources management. It comprises one semester of 20 weeks plus a 4-6 month Swiss or international paid training. After completing the two-year program at the B.H.M.S. Business & Hotel Management School students decide either to follow the BA in Hotel & Hospitality Management or the BA in Global Business Management final year pathway.
